HOUSE OF WIRELESS RADIATION, HOW IT AFFECTS US?
HOUSE OF WIRELESS RADIATION? HOW IT
AFFECTS US?
“Stay dumb, stay healthy”
World Health Organization International Agency for Research on Cancer
(WHO/IARC) has classified radio frequency (RF) radiation from any source such
as the signals emitted by cell phones, other wireless and cordless and sensor
devices, and wireless networks fully meets criteria to be classified as a “Group
1 carcinogenic to humans” agent. (THE GUARDIAN,UK)
What is carcinogen ? it is any substance
capable of causing cancer in living tissue.
The International
Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) distinguishes four main groups or
physical factors on the basis of existing scientific data to assess their
carcinogenic potential.
GROUP 1: proven carcinogen or certainly carcinogenic to human
GROUP 2A: probably carcinogenic for human beings as
there is no formal evidence of carcinogenicity in humans, but evidence of
carcinogenicity in experimental animals.
GROUP
2B: There is limited evidence of carcinogenicity in humans and evidence for
animals.
GROUP 3: Insufficient
evidence of carcinogenicity to humans and animals.
GROUP 4: Non-carcinogenic for human beings.
In 2011, WHO/IARC classified RF radiation from any source as a “Group 2B
possibly carcinogenic to human” agent. Miller believes the evidence published
since 2011 fulfills the requirements to re-classify RF radiation as a “Group 1
carcinogenic to humans” agent.
Dr. Anthony B. Miller is a physician epidemiologist who specializes in cancer
etiology, prevention, and screening. Miller is Professor Emeritus at the Dalla
Lana School of Public Health of the University of Toronto and Senior Medical
Advisor to the Environmental Health Trust.
A connected phone, even it is on your pocket, next to your body, causes
unnecessarily high radio frequency exposure to the users body parts. Most
countries have put limits for cellphone and network radiation. Also the phone
manufacturers are warning not to use the phone too close to human body.
However, there are no country which is truly monitoring and measuring the
cellphone radiation levels, from the users perspective. Maybe the monitoring
has not been done, as there has not been instruments to do it.
These radiations are beleived to cause a variety of potential health problems including: Headaches, Memory loss, Cardiovascular
stress, Low sperm
count, Birth defects and Cancer.
Now point is how to reduce or eliminate ill-effects of radiation :-
- Keep the device away from body, use
earphones while calling.
- Switch of the device when not in use.
- Keep wireless
devices out of reach of children specially till adolescent.
- Shift to wired ways of communications.
- Limit the use of cell-phones for calling and
texting only, hence avoiding excess use of smartphones (dumb), for web
browsing etc better to use pc or laptop (surely not on lap).
